July 27, 2021 – Prison looms. The Blue Wave may be in doubt.

The Pagan’s Motorcycle Club’s national president Keith (Conan the Barbarian) Richter will plead guilty to a gun charge this week in federal court out of New Jersey stemming from an arrest back in the winter leaving an annual Pagan’s get-together in Lancaster, Pennsylvania just outside Philadelphia and crossing over into the Garden State with his driver on their way home.

The 62-year old Richter lives in Long Island, New York and has been in the government’s crosshairs since taking power as the club’s boss in a coup almost four years ago. His guilty plea, set to come Friday, comes with it the possibility of a maximum 10-year prison sentence. Richter is currently being held without bond. He refers to his plan to grow the Pagan’s MC brand as the Blue Wave.

On the night of February 20, the white-colored GMC sports utility vehicle Richter was a passenger in was pulled over by police in Mercer County, New Jersey. During the traffic stop, officers found Richter to be in possession of an unregistered fully-loaded Ruger 45-caliber handgun. Being a convicted felon, under the law Richter is not allowed to be in the presence of firearms.

The gun in question was located in a secret compartment of the SUV. Federal authorities were tipped off to Richter’s possession of the weapon by someone at the party he attended and the feds relayed the information to local police requesting a stop once he crossed the state border.

Richter spent 16 years in federal prison for extorting and trying to kill a New York strip club owner in the 1990s. At the time of his extortion and attempted murder case, he was the club’s national Sergeant at Arms. ATF and DEA records indicate Richter assumed the throne in the Pagan’s biker empire in November 2017 as part of a non-violent overthrowing of the club’s previous regime.

Upon taking the reins in the Pagan’s, Richter ordered an expansion of the club, a campaign of turf gobbling that he dubbed the “Blue Wave Initiative.” On Richter’s orders, members of the Pagan’s in clubs east of the Mississippi River must wear an “East Coast” rocker rather than one that identifies any particular city or state as is customary. There have now been nine new Pagan’s chapters opened on the east coast under Richter’s Blue Wave mandate and another handful opened in Texas, Oklahoma and Arizona, pushing the club’s industrious expansion effort westward.
